Mark your calendar for Friday, Nov. 6. It's the first big release day of November, and it's packed.
This week brings a pop debut fans have waited years for, a big rap album, a rock band showing its soft side, and a '90s icon's first holiday record. Yep, holiday season starts now.
Here's what's coming. Then we'll check the charts, where one song just set another record.
New This Friday
Dove Cameron – FINAL GIRL
After years of waiting, Dove Cameron's debut studio album drops Nov. 6 on Disruptor/Columbia. It has 11 tracks, including "when in rome" and "do the math."
That same day she starts opening for sombr on his You Are the Reason Tour. Big Friday for Dove.
Lil Baby – FRESH
The Atlanta rapper has been teasing FRESH for weeks, and it's officially set for Nov. 6. If rap is your thing, this is the one to hear this week.
Rex Orange County – Dream Fatigue
Rex's sixth album has 12 tracks, with guests including Daniel Caesar, Turnstile's Brendan Yates and Mustafa. "Indecision" with Daniel Caesar has been out since August, so you can listen ahead. NME has the full details.
Kings of Leon – O My Beloved
Album number 10 is the first one the band produced themselves, and their first full-length since 2024's Can We Please Have Fun. The lead single "My Whole World" is softer and more romantic. Consequence has the tracklist.
Alanis Morissette – Good Weather for Immaculate Conception
This is Alanis's first-ever holiday album, and six tracks are already streaming. Love it or not, the Christmas music has arrived.
La Roux – Old Flames
La Roux's Old Flames is one of the bigger names on the Nov. 6 list. If "Bulletproof" still makes you dance, this one's for you.
James Blunt – Airplane Mode
James Blunt's new album Airplane Mode also comes out Nov. 6. If you love a piano ballad you can sing along to, give it a spin.
Chart Check
On the Billboard Hot 100 dated Nov. 7, 2026, Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" is No. 1 for a 26th week. That breaks its own record for the most weeks ever at No. 1. Billboard has the breakdown.
It's the first song in Hot 100 history to spend half a year at No. 1. It has also led Hot Country Songs for 47 weeks. That's unreal.
Here's the rest of the top 10:
- No. 2: Tate McRae's "Housewife" holds at No. 2.
- No. 3: Stella Lefty's "Boston" moves up to No. 3.
- No. 4: Morgan Wallen climbs back up to No. 4.
- No. 5: Tame Impala and JENNIE's "Dracula" got a Halloween boost and hit a new high at No. 5.
- No. 6: Adéla's "Nicole Kidman" climbs to a new high at No. 6.
- No. 7: Olivia Rodrigo's "expectations" with Chappell Roan slips to No. 7.
- No. 8: Taylor Swift's "Patient Zero" falls to No. 8.
Ariana Grande and Karol G are also back in the top 10.
Austin's Take
Dove Cameron gets my pick of the week. Fans have waited a long time for a real debut album, and dropping it the same day she joins sombr's tour is great timing.
As for "Choosin' Texas"? Twenty-six weeks at No. 1 is more than a hit, it's a full-on takeover. Tate McRae and Stella Lefty are right behind it, so I'm curious whether either one can knock it off before the year ends.
So which Nov. 6 release are you playing first, and is it too early for Alanis's holiday album? Tell me in the comments!
